A new spinoff of Five Nights at Freddy's is coming, subtitled Sister Location, per a teaser that went up on developer Scott Cawthon's website today.
No other details are known. The teaser site's background features what appears to be the face of a new character. "Sister Location" also seems to refer to a fictitious restaurant associated with the "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza" eatery, which served as the series' original setting and namesake.
The point-and-click survival horror series launched four titles on Windows PC and mobile platforms between August 2014 and July 2015 before Cawthon turned his attention to Five Nights at Freddy's World, a PC role-playing game based on the series, which was received very poorly.
Cawthon admitted he rushed that game's release, leaving out certain baseline features. It was pulled from Steam a week after its launch as Cawthon promised to polish its features.
