The newest television spot for Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, which is set to hit theaters in ten days, finally brings Spider-Man in on the fighting action.
The studio first premiered the teenage superhero in one of its trailers last month, but aside from a quick flip onto a car, he didn't get to do much. In this new clip, he's swinging into the middle of the battle, going head-to-head with Winter Soldier, otherwise known as Bucky Barnes and Captain America's best friend.
"You have a metal arm?" Spider-Man asks while blocking a punch. "That is awesome, dude!"
Although Spider-Man isn't in the TV spot for too long, his scene gives us the first glimpse into how his character will be integrated into the movie. It's obvious that Marvel wants him to be and act much younger than the rest of the Avengers just based on the way he talks.
In the movie, Spider-Man will be a member of Iron Man's team, taking on Captain America, Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man and more. Civil War will be his introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the superhero will star in his own movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming, in 2017. It was recently confirmed that Robert Downey Jr., who plays Iron Man, would also be in the stand-alone film.
Captain America: Civil War comes out May 6.
