This 100-minute video shows every fatality from every Mortal Kombat game

Watch 24 years of kombatants killing each other

Michael McWhertor is a journalist with more than 17 years of experience covering video games, technology, movies, TV, and entertainment.

When Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 hit arcades in 1995, it featured an eight-minute "Supreme Demonstration" ending that showed off every fatality, friendship, animality and babality from the game. It was a test of arcade operators' patience, but it hardly compares to Izuny's roundup of the franchise's fatalities, which runs nearly two hours.

This even-more-supreme demonstration recounts the hundreds of finishing moves from the original Mortal Kombat all the way up to to Mortal Kombat XL. The killing moves progress from the now-quaint to the revolting, with a brief pause in the amped-up graphic violence around the release of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, when the developer was forced to tone down the gore.

Let us know how long you can stand it.
