A physical release for Rocket League is headed to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on July 5, Psyonix and 505 Games announced. The retail version of the popular downloadable title, which is currently available on both consoles and Windows PC, will come with added content, according to a press release.
The collector's edition set includes the original Rocket League game as well as items and cars included in its expansion packs. These include Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars and Chaos Run, the most recent DLC release.
Psyonix announced in February that the popular sports game, which recently received its own esports league, would be heading to stores. While it first launched on PS4 and PC last year, Rocket League arrived on Xbox One earlier this year; Microsoft later announced that cross-platform support, allowing PC players to square off against Xbox players, would be coming to the game. That feature is currently available for the PS4 and Steam versions.
