Halo 5's Warzone Firefight enters beta next week

Ahead of its summer release

Warzone Firefight, a new multiplayer mode for Halo 5: Guardians, will enter beta on April 14. From 10 a.m. PT next Thursday until 10 a.m. PT Monday, April 18, Halo fans can check out a single map from the upcoming cooperative campaign.

Alongside the beta campaign, developer 343 Industries will offer a new REQ pack. The promotional Mythic Warzone pack will be available for one week starting April 14, offering 10 single-use power weapon REQs. Players can use the gear across any of the Warzone modes, including Warzone Firefight.

Based on Halo 5's Warzone and Halo 3: ODST's popular Firefight, the mode will throw eight players into five rounds against an increasingly difficult enemy AI. These bosses include the new Mythic class.

Until the launch of both the beta and the full multiplayer mode, which is planned for a summer release, Halo fans can check out the new content added to Warzone and Arena today. That free update, Ghosts of Meridian, is now available for the Xbox One game. Check out its launch trailer above.
