Jimmy Kimmel to host Marvel 'Superhero Week,' debut Doctor Strange trailer

Plus, Captain America: Civil War

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel will once again debut a series of Marvel exclusives as he gears up to tackle a week of superhero-related episodes, ABC announced today.

The series, which kicks off on Monday April 11, will focus on Captain America: Civil War and Benedict Cumberbatch's upcoming Doctor Strange. The first night, Kimmel will host Captain America's team from the third installment in the superhero franchise, which includes Chris Evans (Captain America), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Anthony Mackie (Falcon) and Paul Rudd (Ant-Man).

This will be followed by a Team Iron Man appearance on Wednesday, which includes the mechanical superhero himself (Robert Downey Jr.), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) and Paul Bettany (Vision).

Most interesting, however, is Tuesday night's Doctor Strange-centric episode. The episode will feature an interview with Benedict Cumberbatch, but Kimmel will also use the hour to debut the first trailer for the film. Marvel released an official image of star Benedict Cumberbatch, who will play the titular sorcerer in the film, earlier today, but has yet to publish an official clip from the film. There have been a few set videos posted on YouTube over the past couple of months while the cast was filming, though.

Chris Hemsworth will round out the week on Thursday, and while he'll use the spot to promote the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman, rumor has it that he may also bring along some Thor: Ragnarok exclusives.

It makes sense that Kimmel, who has previously debuted the trailers for Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Age of Ultron, would get the week of exclusives. Disney, which owns Marvel Studios, is also the parent company of ABC.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs Monday through Thursday at 11:35 p.m. ET.
