Capcom will release Umbrella Corps, its team-based shooter take on Resident Evil, on June 21, the company announced. The confirmed release date is a month later than previously announced for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC game, which was first scheduled for May.
The delay is a result of the developer requiring extra "optimization time" for the game, according to the Capcom-Unity blog. Umbrella Corps will be available digitally for $29.99 when it does arrive, offering various competitive modes and maps inspired by other games in the survival horror franchise.
Players control teams of mercenaries that come with a variety of customization options, as detailed in a new blog post. Custom weapons and emotes are also available. For more on how that system works in Umbrella Corps, watch the trailer above.
