The first teaser trailer for CBS's new Star Trek series is here, and along with it, the official logo for the show. Both can be seen in the video above.
The 50-second trailer doesn't offer anything too informative. Instead, it starts off with a narrator's voice proclaiming "a new adventure" before flying warp speed through the galaxy. The teaser ends with the new logo for the series.
The show will be helmed by Bryan Fuller, best known for creating Hannibal and Pushing Daisies, but there's no word on casting just yet. Star Trek is expected to debut next January, although only the first episode will be made available to standard cable TV audiences. Following the premiere of the pilot, people will have to sign up for CBS' stand-alone streaming service, All Access, to watch the show.
The original Star Trek, which starred William Shatner and the late Leonard Nimoy, aired on NBC between 1969 and 1972.
