Absolver looks like guilt-free martial arts goodness from ex-Ubisoft members

Devolver Digital has unveiled Absolver, the publisher's latest stylish action project that's heading to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One next year. The game is set to bring martial arts flow to the online multiplayer space, as seen in the trailer above.

Absolver is the first title from indie developer Sloclap, a Parisian studio comprised of designers whose credits include Watch Dogs and the Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon series. Absolver doesn't seem to have much in common with either of those games, though; instead, it's set in the fantastical Adal Empire, where masked fighters must fight to prove their worth and earn their survival.

There's more to come about Absolver at this year's E3 event, Devolver Digital said in a press release. Those looking forward to the melee-focused role-playing game, which offers PvP and PvE modes and various combat styles, can check out the screens below.
