Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer said that the studio was so happy with what they saw as an overwhelming positive response to the new Power Rangers costumes, that the company is looking into making the upcoming movie an entire franchise.
There could be six more Power Rangers movies

Feltheimer told a group of analysts during a conference call on Thursday, as reported by Variety, that he was “really, really excited” about the new Power Rangers movie and could “see doing five or six or seven.” The film, which is set to star a cast of relatively fresh-faced actors and Elizabeth Banks as the sorceress Rita Repulsa.
Power Rangers, directed by Dean Israelite (Project Almanac), was first announced in May 2014 and has been in development ever since. It’s slated to hit theaters May 24, 2017.
