HBO announced today that Larry David and the rest of the Curb Your Enthusiasm team will return to the network for a ninth season.
The Emmy-award winning show is HBO's longest running scripted-comedy or drama to date with 80 episodes made in eight seasons. David, who also co-created the series, said the reason he was returning to the show after five years of being off the air was essentially boredom.
"In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, 'I left, I did nothing, I returned,'" David said in a press release.
There's no estimated window for when Curb Your Enthusiasm will return, but HBO said it would release more information when it became available.
