During Nintendo's E3 Treehouse presentation, the company announced that it would be updating its mobile entertainment-turned-game app Miitomo with Legend of Zelda items today.
The announcement was made during the publisher's stream of its new Zelda game, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The company said that to celebrate the new game it would be updating the Miitomo store with new apparel and accessories related to the Legend of Zelda series for players to buy.
Miitomo launched at the end of March and since then has had trouble holding onto players. According to a recent study, more and more people are abandoning the social game app, citing a lack of activities as the main reason. Polygon's own staff had some issues with the app and suggested what needed to be done by Nintendo to draw them back in.
Miitomo is available to download through the Apple App store or Google Play.
