A new trailer for Koei Tecmo’s Attack on Titan, based on the popular anime and manga series, was released today. The special E3 trailer shows off more of the game’s third-person combat and a laundry list of characters.
Series protagonist Eren features prominently in the trailer, along with other members of the Scout Regiment including Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Christa, Sasha, Conny, Levi and Erwin. It also features the powerful female titan and colossal titan.
While details on the gameplay itself are still not known, the new Attack on Titan trailer seems to indicate the game will hew very close to the original plotline of the story’s anime incarnation. The two-minute trailer featured many of the same bloody combat encounters that made it so popular. It showed off animations related to the use of the three dimensional maneuver gear
In development by Dynasty Warriors developer Omega Force, Koei Tecmo had previously announced that the action game will receive a physical release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with digital versions coming to PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Windows PC.
