The newest Mario Party game making its way to the 3DS, Mario Party Star Rush, will be available to play on Nov. 4 on the 3DS, Nintendo announced today during a livestream at E3.
Mario Party Star Rush allows up to four people to play simultaneously without having to rely on the turn-based move mechanic. Players will also have the opportunity to team up with two to four Mushroom Kingdom characters that participate in different events and help win different mini-games and challenges.
Multiplayer mode can be accessed in a couple of different ways, including via Local Wireless or Download Play. Nintendo also confirmed that for the first time, it will be compatible with multi-card communication.
Mario Party Star Rush will be compatible with seven different amiibo types, including figurines that were announced at E3 this week. Wario, Waluigi, Daisy, Rosalina, Boo, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong will all be available to purchase the same day the game is released.
Nintendo spent quite a bit of time today showing off Mario Party Star Rush gameplay, which can be seen in the video below.
