The extended version of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which includes about 30 minutes of extra footage, has a new trailer.
The new version will be included on the Blu-ray and digital release of the film and features the R-rated edits of the movie, according to Collider. Director Zack Snyder said he had to cut the scenes to ensure that the movie wasn't three hours long, but added that the extended version mainly received an R rating due to more scenes of violence. Essentially, prepare for bigger battle sequences between Batman and Superman.
The extended version also features characters who were cut from the film because of timing restrictions, including Jena Malone's mysterious role. Featurettes on the making of the film, cast interviews and prop highlights will all be included in the Blu-ray edition, too.
