Rez Infinite has a release date

Trance vibrator not included

Developer Enhance Games has confirmed that Rez Infinite, the upcoming HD and VR remake of the musical rail shooter Rez, will be released Oct. 13, 2016 alongside PlayStation VR.

Tetsuya Mizuguchi, producer of the original Rez, is the head of development on Rez Infinite. He has made use of experimental hardware in his past games as well. Mizuguchi's previous title Child of Eden was one of the first games to support Microsoft's Kinect. The original Rez also had a version exclusive to Japan that included an infamous "trance vibrator" peripheral that pulsed along with the game's music.

Rez Infinite will be playable on standard PlayStation 4 in addition to PlayStation VR. No price point has been confirmed for Rez Infinite, however it will be a digital release.
