Mass Effect novels coming, will link Andromeda to the rest of the story

Titan Books also has Dishonored and Deus Ex titles in the works

Owen S. Good is a longtime veteran of video games writing, well known for his coverage of sports and racing games.

Mass Effect is getting a series of novels that will link the original video game trilogy to the story of Mass Effect: Andromeda, which launches next spring.

Titan Books is publishing the series, beginning with Mass Effect: Andromeda Initiative this August. That will be followed by three yet-to-be-subtitled novels publishing by March and September 2017 and March 2018.

Additionally, Titan is publishing three novelizations for Dishonored and Deus Ex this year and next. Dishonored: The Corroded Man, by Adam Christopher, releases in September, followed by two books written by the same author in February and June of 2017.

Deus Ex: Black Light "will form a bridge between the events in Deus Ex: Human Revolution and the new game Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," which launches Aug. 23. The novel, by James Swallow, is on shelves the same month.

Correction: An earlier version of this post misstated the release date for Dishonored: The Corroded Man. The post has been changed with the proper release window.
