Thumper will launch on Oct. 13, right alongside the PlayStation VR headset, developer Drool announced on the PlayStation Blog. The unique rhythm game — full of high-speed, bug-infested violence amidst techno beats — will be available on the PlayStation Store for $19.99.
The VR-compatible PlayStation 4 game will receive a collector’s edition set alongside its launch. Drool is working with iam8bit on the package, which includes the game’s soundtrack on vinyl and a download code. The $45 collector's edition is available for pre-order now.
We’ve checked out Thumper several times since we first discovered it at GDC 2015. Watch us get overwhelmed by the virtual reality version below. For more on the PlayStation VR's launch library, check out our impressions on several other titles from a recent PlayStatiton event.
