Following the reveal earlier this week of Harry, Ginny and Albus Severus Potter in the upcoming play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the team at Pottermore have released the first photos of Draco Malfoy and his son, Scorpius.
Alex Price plays the older Malfoy, as seen in the photo above, and Anthony Boyle plays his young son, Scorpius. While Scorpius definitely looks identical to Tom Felton's Draco from the original films, it's interesting that Price's version of the character is rocking the ponytail; a look made famous by Draco's father, Lucius, in the series. Both characters can be seen more in-depth below.
The only figure missing from the family shot is Draco's wife, Astoria Greengrass. She only got a brief mention in the epilogue that followed the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and it's still unclear if she'll be in the play. Author J.K. Rowling previously confirmed that The Cursed Child would be the eighth canonical story in the series, so it seems unlikely that Greengrass would be forgotten about entirely.
Set 19 years after the vanquishment of Lord Voldemort in The Deathly Hallows, The Cursed Child follows Harry as he struggles with working a mediocre ministry job and Albus Severus as he copes with the struggles of being a student at Hogwarts. Despite beating Voldemort, there's still some unrest within the magical community and it's up to Harry and his son to try and stop it from turning into an entirely new war.
The play is set to debut in London later this month, with a novelized version being released on July 31.
