The mobile clicker game Tap My Katamari is now available worldwide on iOS and Android.
The Katamari Damacy spin-off was announced last December at Jump Festa. Though it's been available in some European markets since January, it's now rolling its way into the U.S.
The first Katamari game since 2012's Touch My Katamari involves tapping your screen as fast as you can to move the Prince of All Cosmos in the only direction he can go— forward. Despite its simplicity, the game has a dedicated subreddit where fans and developers have been exchanging strategies and ideas for the past few months. Pro-tip: Use the Cosmos cousins to continue moving in one direction even when not tapping at all.
Bandai Namco recently trademarked Amazing Katamari in various regions, possibly indicating the next project for the Katamari franchise.
