Yooka-Laylee will launch during the first quarter of 2017 on Windows PC and consoles, publisher Team17 announced. That's a bit later than originally planned; the game was at first set for a 2016 debut. But the successful Kickstarter project will make an appearance at next week's E3 2016 event, where fans and backers will get to see the platforming adventure game in action.
They can also check the game out above in its E3 trailer, highlighting the lead characters' world and proclivities for jumping and collecting. As developer Playtonic Games revealed last month, all of that action is in service of the pair's quest to take down the money-hungry Capital B.
