Telltale's The Walking Dead Season Three arrives this fall

And an E3 appearance from Batman

Telltale Games is set to release both Batman: A Telltale Games Series and The Walking Dead: Season Three later this year, head of creative communications Job Stauffer confirmed on Twitter. In a tweet, Stauffer gave the release windows for the games while promising an E3 2016 appearance for the Batman game.

Stauffer reconfirmed that Batman's Telltale debut will drop this summer, as the company said at SXSW 2016, while The Walking Dead's story picks back up this fall. He didn't get more specific than that, but did promise that the Batman series will be at next week's E3 event.

Telltale previously detailed the game in March, where the studio announced that characters like Alfred, Commissioner Gordon and other classic comics characters will appear. The game will also focus on both Bruce Wayne and the Dark Knight — although players can choose to spend most of their time walking around as the millionaire playboy.

As for The Walking Dead, Telltale has been teasing a third season since 2014. Following Season Two of the adventure game series, the studio released a three-episode miniseries featuring the character Michonne. It wrapped this April.
