Psychonauts is now playable on PlayStation 4, according to the PlayStation Store. This is despite Sony refuting its own announcement that the cult favorite adventure title would be coming to the console this week.
On Sunday, the PlayStation Blog included Psychonauts' PS4 debut among the games launching on June 7. An update later that day removed the game from the list, however.
"Psychonauts is coming out soon, but not this week," the post was edited to read. "Apologies for the error. Stay tuned for final timing!"
Despite that, Psychonauts is now up on the PlayStation Store as originally planned. The PlayStation 2 classic, first announced for a PS4 re-release in January, is available for $9.99.
A sequel is in the works for, among other consoles, PlayStation 4, as is a PlayStation VR spinoff. Both remain unscheduled.
