Badges for this year's PAX West (formerly known as PAX Prime) are now on sale, the organizers announced on Twitter. Those eager to attend can't just up and buy them, though — they'll have to enter a virtual queue and wait their turns.

The ticketing system will automatically bump customers from the waiting room into the checkout process when the time comes around. Badges are available on a limited, first come-first served basis, however.

There are one-day badges available for Friday through Monday; each costs $45.

Seattle's annual Penny Arcade Expo will run from Sept. 2-5. It's one of several PAX events, including PAX East in Boston and PAX South in San Antonio, Texas. This year, Penny Arcade rebranded what was called PAX Prime — the convention that begat the franchise — as PAX West.

Update: They're all gone, folks.
