Electronic Arts is offering a free trial of EA Access to Xbox Live Gold subscribers starting June 12, Microsoft and EA announced today.
Known as Free Play Days, the trial will offer access to The Vault, an ever-growing collection of full EA games that are available at no additional cost to EA Access subscribers. These include Battlefield Hardline, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Titanfall and nearly every EA Sports title from 2013 onward. EA Access is available only on Xbox One.
Free Play Days will run from June 12-22, and Xbox Live Gold members will be able to use the trial by downloading the EA Access Hub app. Once the trial period ends, customers will have the option to subscribe at the usual price — $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year — and if they do, they'll keep any progress they've made in the games. An EA representative confirmed to Polygon that the trial does not include the other perks of EA Access, such as the 10 percent discount for digital purchases of EA content in the Xbox Games Store.
