Yesterday it was a leak on the Microsoft Xbox page, today it looks like the trailer for Destiny's next expansion has appeared on Snapchat.
Destiny: Rise of Iron will hit Sept. 20, according to the video. The expansion will require owning the previous Taken King expansion. Pre-orders of the game will include the Iron Gjallarhorn rocket launcher, in black.
Yesterday's leak detailed that the expansion would include a new campaign and quests, new armor and gear, new weapons, raids, strikes and a maximum Light increase.
Bungie will host a livestream, later today at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET, to provide official details on Destiny: Rise of Iron.
In today's trailer we find out a bit more about the story, which focuses on the Fallen and Lord Saladin. Notably, the trailer doesn't reference which systems the expansion is coming to. Make sure to check back for our coverage of the livestream later today.
