Report says Batman: Return to Arkham won't launch until at least November

Frame-rate problems blamed for the port's delay

The remastered Batman: Return to Arkham collection for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has been delayed indefinitely from its original launch date of July 31. Eurogamer now reports the earliest it will launch is November.

Citing multiple unnamed sources, Eurogamer said the collection of Rocksteady-developed Batman games could also launch next year, as the November launch date is not entirely firm.

Eurogamer said the delay is attributed to frame-rate issues in the porting of the games, which is being developed by China-based Virtuous Games. Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment are particularly sensitive to that kind of a problem, given what both went through with the awful PC port of last year's Batman: Arkham Knight.

Asked about the November launch window, WB Games responded with the same statement it gave in announcing the delay on June 28.
