One of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare's most memorable missions was its first: "Crew Expendable." In 2007, the rainy, nighttime stealth assault on a ship at sea and the ensuing escape was pretty mind-blowing to Call of Duty fans. How does "Crew Expendable" look today, in the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered? Familiar, but still pretty mind-blowing.
You can check out seven minutes of gameplay from Infinity Ward and Raven Software's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered in the video above, released today by publisher Activision. It's not the full level — there's an "In the interest of time..." cut in there — but it offers a good look at what players will get to experience in the remastered Call of Duty 4 later this year.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be included as part of the Legacy, Legacy Pro and Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The remaster features the original game's full campaign and 10 multiplayer maps.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered will be released Nov. 4 on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. Players on PS4 who pre-order Infinite Warfare will get access to Modern Warfare Remastered a month early.
