SNK will release a port of classic Neo Geo fighting game Garou: Mark of the Wolves for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita with the help of Sony's third-party productions team. Sony's Gio Corsi announced the re-release of Garou: Mark of the Wolves at a panel at Evo 2016 today.
An early version of Garou: Mark of the Wolves is available to play at Evo, Corsi added.
Originally released in 1999 for Neo Geo, Garou: Mark of the Wolves is part of SNK's Fatal Fury series and one of the most requested SNK titles from fans, Corsi said. The fighting game was later ported to Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360 and mobile platforms.
SNK and Sony's third-party productions team have previously collaborated to bring games like Metal Slug 3 and The Last Blade 2 to PS4 and Vita. Corsi said Sony will hold another poll to gauge interest in future SNK Neo Geo ports for PlayStation platforms.
