MMA fighter KO's opponent, captures him with Pokéball

Michael 'Venom' Page uses JUMPING KNEE. It's super effective!

By now you may have heard of a mobile game called Pokémon Go. Everyone, it seems, is making some reference to the craze, including Bellator MMA fighter Michael "Venom" Page with this choreographed KO celebration.

After flattening Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos, of Brazil, in the second round of their welterweight bout in last night's Bellator 158, Page retrieved a Pokémon hat and ball from someone in the crowd. He mugged for the camera and completed the scene by rolling the ball at Santos, who had more than fainted. He was treated at a hospital for a skull fracture and expected to undergo surgery.

Page, a Brit, is said to have boasted about catching a Cyborg after the fight. Santos came into the match a heavy 7-1 underdog to Page, a rising star and heavily promoted fighter on the Bellator circuit. Santos had promised the fight would be "a great spectacle," but it's unlikely this is what he had in mind.
