Dark Horse releasing The Art of Gwent in 2017

Dark Horse Comics will release a new book based on the art of The Witcher's card game, Gwent, next year, the company announced today. The Art of Gwent, which features "hundreds of never-before-seen pieces" from CD Projekt Red's card game, arrives in early 2017.

CD Projekt Red and Dark Horse have collaborated on a wide-ranging line of products, including comics, action figures and pins. Dark Horse published The World of The Witcher, a hardbound companion book based on the franchise, in 2015.

In addition to the art book, Dark Horse will also release an 8.5-inch bust of series protagonist Geralt. Dark Horse says it will release price information on the limited-edition Geralt bust in the future.

The Art of Gwent and the Geralt bust will be released Feb. 21, 2017.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, the dedicated stand-alone title based on the card game featured in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, will be released on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One this September. Players can register for the Gwent beta at the game's official website.
