Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One this September, publisher Bandai Namco announced today. A new trailer for the sequel to 2010’s fast-paced take on Pac-Man shows off what’s coming to the sequel: ghost-bumping, jump pads, giant-sized ghost boss battles and more.
In a release, Bandai Namco says Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 "will also build upon Pac-Man Championship Edition DX’s ‘Chain Eating’ mechanics by enabling fans to build up to four ghost trains before chowing down for maximum chompage points."
Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 will feature a Score Attack mode and a new Adventure mode that will have players chasing down fast-moving fruit and battling giant bosses. You can check out some of those features, and what appear to be stacked and slanted levels, in Pac-Man CE 2’s debut trailer above.
Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 will be playable at this week’s San Diego Comic-Con 2016. Polygon will be in attendance to cover the show — and play ridiculous amounts of Pac-Man.
