Suicide Squad trailer released at Comic-Con debuts new footage

Less than a month until it hits theaters

Even though Suicide Squad is just a couple of weeks away from being released in theaters world-wide, the entire cast showed up to San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday to talk about the movie and show off the latest trailer, which includes some never-before-seen footage.

The trailer, which can be seen above, was created specifically for the crowd at Hall H. In past years, Warner Bros. has tried to keep these trailers exclusive to the thousands of fans who wait for hours to get into the convention center's biggest room. This year, however, the studio went in an alternate direction and decided to upload each trailer directly to its YouTube page to combat leaks.

Suicide Squad stars Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot and a whole slew of actors that join the weirdest superhero squad — made up entirely of super villains — within the DC universe.

Suicide Squad hits theaters Aug. 6.
