Max Landis, the writer best known for his work on movies like Chronicle, Victor Frankenstein and the upcoming Power Rangers movie, is working on an animated Pepé Le Pew movie for Warner Bros.
Landis made the announcement at San Diego Comic-Con during a panel for Dirk Gently's Holistic Pet Agency on Saturday. Landis reportedly pitched the movie to Warner Bros. some time ago and the studio immediately signed onto the project.
Pepé Le Pew is one of the more popular Looney Tunes characters and was created in 1945. The character is a womanizing romantic who spends much of his time falling in and out of love with various female characters. The character has starred in 17 animated movies since he was first created and appeared in many more.
Details about this project are still emerging.
