The 500 GB and 1 TB configurations of the new Xbox One S console will launch with two bundles on Aug. 23, Microsoft announced today. The consoles will cost $299 and $349, respectively.

The consoles up for pre-order right now include a Madden NFL 17 bundle, which has that game and a month's subscription to the EA Access premium service.

There is also an Xbox One S Halo Collection bundle, which offers the console and copies of Halo 5: Guardians and Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

The larger 2 TB Xbox One S goes on sale Aug. 2, as will the console's new controller, sold separately for $59.99.

The Xbox One S, announced at Microsoft's E3 2015 news conference, is 40 percent smaller than the original Xbox One. It supports 4K Ultra HD video with high dynamic range (HDR) color but needs to be connected to a television that also supports that format. The console has a built-in power supply, and three USB ports have been moved to the front, alongside an IR blaster.

On Sunday, Microsoft announced that the price of its original Xbox One model had been cut again, to $249 while supplies last.
