Here’s your PlayStation Plus lineup for August

How many of these games have you heard of?

PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download games such as Rebel Galaxy and Yakuza 5 for free next month as part of their membership, Sony announced today.

PlayStation 4 owners will get Rebel Galaxy, the space trading and combat title from Double Damage Games, and a new title, a physics-based puzzler called Tricky Towers from WeirdBeard Games. They’ll also be able to download Puppy Games’ Ultratron, a twin-stick shooter, which is available on PS4 as well as PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

The two main PS3 titles are Sega’s Yakuza 5, which debuted in the West last December, and Retro/Grade, the music-based time-traveling reverse shooter from 24 Caret Games. The other Vita game aside from Ultratron is Pyramid and Sony Japan Studio’s Patapon 3, which Sony originally released on PlayStation Portable but later made compatible with Vita.

Meanwhile, Microsoft’s Games With Gold slate for August includes Spelunky and Beyond Good & Evil. For more on Sony’s titles, check out the video above.
