Just Sing is a new karaoke game from Ubisoft

No longer will you just dance

Ubisoft will release Just Sing, a new party karaoke game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, this September, the publisher announced today. The spinoff of Ubisoft’s popular Just Dance series will include more than 40 songs and — like Sony’s SingStar for PS4 — lets singers use their iOS and Android devices as microphones.

Just Sing is being created by iNiS, the Elite Beat Agents developer that later went on to make Lips and The Black Eyed Peas Experience singalong games. As pointed out in the game’s debut trailer, Just Sing gives players the option to sing or merely lip-sync. The game’s companion app for mobile devices also captures video, letting players show off on the big screen. Just Sing is also compatible with the PS4’s PlayStation Camera and Kinect for Xbox One.

The Just Sing soundtrack includes a selection of classic and modern hits, including A-Ha’s "Take On Me," Queen’s "I Want to Break Free," Sia’s "Chandelier" and The Weeknd’s "Can’t Feel My Face."

Just Sing hits PS4 and Xbox One on Sept. 6.
