Wild Guns: Reloaded adds long-haired dachshund as playable character

Who’s a good boy?

Natsume’s sequel to 1994 Super Nintendo shooting gallery game Wild Guns, the PlayStation 4-exclusive Wild Guns: Reloaded, is getting two new characters in addition to the original Clint and Annie. In a newly released trailer, Natsume reveals Dorris and Bullet.

Dorris is a burly, bomb-throwing captain in the Galactic Forces, while Bullet is a long-haired dachshund who fights alongside a drone. Though he may be a miniature dog, Bullet appears to have a height advantage over his human compatriots; his drone can pick him up by his harness and lift him out of harm’s way.

Natsume announced Wild Guns: Reloaded earlier this year. The PS4 sequel to the SNES cult classic is, like the original, a sci-fi Western arcade shooter with 16-bit-style graphics. Wild Guns: Reloaded will feature classic and new stages, as well as new boss battles that can be played cooperatively by up to four players.

Wild Guns: Reloaded is expected to arrive sometime this fall. In the meantime, here's a closer look at the full cast.
