The PlayStation Store's Mid-Year Sale heads into its second week with another round of deals. We've gathered up this week's best deals, highlighting below the cheapest, greatest games on sale. They're each a good way to ignore that the point of the sale is that 2016 is, somehow, more than halfway through.
All prices below are those for PlayStation Plus members, who receive an added 10 percent off. The deals are valid until July 12 at 11 a.m. ET.
Tearaway Unfolded (PS4): $7.99 (60 percent off)
Media Molecule revamped the Vita game for Sony's home console in 2015. There's a demo to check out in case you didn't try Tearaway in its handheld incarnation. Either way, expect a cute, inventive platformer.
God of War 3 Remastered (PS4): $7.99 (60 percent off)
Pick up the definitive version of Kratos' most recent console adventure. You should have plenty of time to finish it before the next God of War game — called God of War — comes out on PlayStation 4.
SOMA (PS4): $11.99 (60 percent off)
SOMA is becoming something of a cult classic. The indie hit made our Games of the Year list in 2015, and one staff member even called it "better than BioShock." Whether you feel the same is on you, but it's reminiscent of the earlier game's survival horror gameplay and strong storytelling.
Amplitude (PS3/PS4): $7.99 (60 percent off)
Harmonix released this rhythm game reboot with help from Kickstarter. It features original music and gameplay that older fans of the original release will remember. You can get a feel for the beat in the Overview above.
The Misadventures of Tron Bonne (PS3/Vita/PSP): $1.49 (75 percent off)
This Mega Man spinoff, originally for PlayStation, is set in the Mega Man Legends universe. The prequel is an action-adventure game whose limited print led it to become a rare find — until now, that is.
Suikoden 2 (PS3/Vita/PSP): $2.99 (70 percent off)
The PlayStation role-playing classic gets a deep discount. There are more than 100 characters to recruit, nearly half of whom are playable in battle. If you haven't played its predecessor, you may want to check that one out from the PlayStation Store too.
Suikoden 3 (PS3): $3.99 (60 percent off)
After Suikoden 2 comes, naturally, this third entry. Suikoden 3 is one of the most beloved releases in Konami's franchise, which hasn't had a new game come stateside since 2009.
