Well-received platformer Inside could be jumping to PlayStation 4 in the coming months, according to a set of trophies that have popped up online.
Developer Playdead’s Limbo follow-up is currently exclusive to Windows PC and Xbox One, but Exophase lists the full trophy details for a PS4 port of the game. Other recent games, like Dead Rising 4, have been outed thanks to the appearance of in-game trophies online. A version for Sony’s console has not yet been confirmed, however; we’ve reached out to the developer and will update with more when we receive it.
The studio has been open to bringing Inside, which launched on Xbox One at the end of June, in the past.
"Our goal is of course to get Inside into the hands of as many gamers as possible, but we can't say anything about other potential platforms at this point," Playdead told Push Square in early July.
Limbo, the game’s 2010 cult favorite predecessor, similarly came to PlayStation consoles after a brief period of Xbox exclusivity. The game launched first in July 2010 on Xbox 360 before Playdead brought it to PlayStation 3 (and PC) nearly a year later. It later made it to Android, iOS, Linux, Mac, PlayStation Vita, PS4 and Xbox One, with a Wii U port currently in the works.
