Sister Location, the latest sequel in the Five Night's at Freddy's series, has quietly acquired a release window: October, according to its Steam page.
This will be the fifth installment in the popular point-and-click survival horror franchise set in a deranged pizza parlor with animatronic entertainers. "Sister Location" means it's set in another restaurant, one affiliated with the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza that serves as the setting of the preceding games.
Five Nights at Freddy's launched four titles on Windows PC and mobile platforms between August 2014 and July 2015. Creator Scott Cawthon then released a role-playing game based on the continuity, but it was very poorly received and Cawthon ultimately pulled it from Steam a week after its launch.
