Zack Snyder and the cast of his upcoming movie, Justice League, are hard at work and in the middle of shooting, but today, the director shared a photo of actor Jason Momoa during some down time.
In the photo, Momoa is dressed from head to toe in his Aquaman costume, including some pretty intense makeup and what appears to be a heavy jacket. It’s one of the closer looks Snyder has released of the character following the trailer for the film that premiered at Comic-Con last month. Of course, Momoa is holding a guitar in the photo which can be seen below and that probably won’t make an appearance in the actual film. Snyder said that working with Momoa everyday was "an amazing adventure" in his tweet.
Momoa will also get his own Aquaman spinoff in 2018 that will be directed by James Wan (Fast 7). His Justice League co-star, Amber Heard, will also reprise her role as Queen Mera in the stand-alone movie.
Both Momoa and Heard will be joined by Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Ezra Miller and Gal Gadot in Justice League.
Justice League is slated to hit theaters Nov. 17, 2017.
