Fallout 4’s Nuka-World expansion will be released Aug. 30 on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One, publisher Bethesda Softworks announced today.
It is the sixth and final piece of downloadable content in Fallout 4’s season pass, which Bethesda expanded in February from its original plan for three DLC packs. Fallout 4 players who don’t own the season pass can buy Nuka-World on its own for $19.99. The price suggests that this add-on will be smaller than Bethesda’s previous Fallout 4 expansion, Far Harbor in May, which cost $24.99.
Nuka-World, which Bethesda announced during its E3 2016 press briefing, brings a new region to the world of Fallout 4 that takes the form of an expansive, eponymous amusement park. Naturally, Nuka-World is overrun with raider gangs; the expansion features "new quests, [raider] factions, weapons, creatures and more," according to Bethesda. The park itself is split into zones such as Nuka-Town, USA; Safari Adventure; the World of Refreshment; Dry Rock Gulch; Kiddie Kingdom; and Galactic Zone.
