Nier: Automata, Square Enix's followup to 2010's Nier, will launch on Steam next year, the studio announced at Gamescom today.
Nier: Automata follows three androids — 2B, 9S and A2 — as they battle an army of machine lifeforms that have taken over the planet, causing the world to exist within a futuristic dystopian setting.
Nier: Automata is set to be released in early 2017 for both Windows PC and PlayStation 4.
