Sleeping Dogs studio reveals new team-based online brawler, Smash + Grab

Fight, loot and craft in United Front Games' new PC title

United Front Games, the studio behind Sleeping Dogs and Triad Wars, revealed its next project today: Smash + Grab, a team-based, third-person online multiplayer brawler set in a corporate dystopian future. The Windows PC game will go into Steam Early Access in September.

Smash + Grab will feature three-on-three battles in which rival gangs fight each other and loot goods from "locked-down, high-end shopping districts" in 15-minute matches. Players can battle each other with crafted melee weapons and firearms, leveling up after matches to earn new perks and clothing. Smash + Grab will let players customize their five-person gang and the leaders and lieutenants that command them.

When Smash + Grab launches on Early Access next month, it will include two multiplayer maps and modes, seven playable Leaders, 13 Lieutenants, 20 different stores and vending machines to smash and 12 base weapons with 18 weapon mods.

In the meantime, check out the game's debut trailer above.
