This must be where all of Hearthstone's zoo decks come from

Hearthstone's latest add-on celebrates a classic deck archetype

Zoo decks have been a thing in Hearthstone almost since the game launched. If you've never heard of them, zoo decks are built around aggressively controlling the board by playing lots of minions with solid stats. These minions are often under certain Hearthstone "tribes," such as beasts, dragons or demons.

In week three of Hearthstone's latest adventure, One Night in Karazhan, all three of these tribes are represented and more. Titled "The Menagerie," this new wing of single-player boss encounters focuses in on encounters that are all about playing around and surviving some very clever zoo-inspired encounters. Beating these foes wins you a bunch of new cards, several of which will be right at home in new zoo decks, including an archetype Blizzard is trying to push that mixes together many tribes into one deck.

Will that idea actually work in practice? We'll have to wait and find out. But in the meantime, we had a lot of fun taking down these bosses. Watch the video above to enjoy it for yourself, and find more silly Hearthstone videos on our full YouTube playlist.
