You can now try out the remastered edition of Grasshopper Manufacture’s debut game The Silver Case thanks to a new demo available on Steam and Japanese indie distribution platform Playism.
The demo features the game’s first chapter "Decoyman," which has so far only been available to play at Japanese indie game festival BitSummit this past July. Many of the scenes and dialogue from "Decoyman" were present in the game’s first trailer that dropped a few weeks ago.
The Silver Case was the first game developed by Lollipop Chainsaw and Killer is Dead creator Goichi "Suda51" Suda with his company Grasshopper Manufacture. Part mystery adventure game and part visual novel, players take on the role of a police detective and explore areas from a first-person perspective while searching for clues to a recent string of grisly and bizarre murders.
The Silver Case, which has never been released outside of Japan, is set to launch worldwide on Windows PC this fall.
