The sixth and supposed final film in the Resident Evil cinematic franchise, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, arrives in theaters Jan. 27, 2017. Today, Sony Pictures released the first teaser trailer for the new Resident Evil movie, which sends series protagonist Alice home to Raccoon City for a final confrontation against the evil Umbrella Corporation.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’s teaser features a rather on-the-nose musical choice (Guns N’ Roses’ "Paradise City") and no shortage of monster and Umbrella soldier-slaying action.

Here’s Sony’s official synopsis of the film:

Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead. Now, she must return to where the nightmare began – The Hive in Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.

Confirmed to return alongside Jovovich in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter are Ali Larter as Claire Redfield, Shawn Roberts as Albert Wesker and Iain Glen as Dr. Isaacs. Series director Paul W.S. Anderson is helming The Final Chapter.

Resident Evil fans will also get a new entry in the video game series in January. Resident Evil 7 biohazard is slated to hit PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One that month.
