A new downloadable pack for the hack-and-slash Zelda games Hyrule Warriors (on Wii U) and Hyrule Warriors Legends (on Nintendo 3DS) will feature Toon Zelda, as well as new weapons for Toon Link inspired by previous handheld titles Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks.
Toon Zelda will take on her spirit form, which possesses a suit of Phantom armor while brandishing a giant sword and shield. In addition, Toon Zelda can use magic to blast away large groups of enemies.
Toon Link’s new weapon will be the sand wand, which he can use to conjure giant blocks of sand from the ground to hurl towards adversaries. He can also summon the Spirit Train to steamroll over crowds.

New content exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS version includes 15 new costume pieces for the game’s My Fairy mode, an adventure mode map called Grand Travels, an adventure battle and two challenge battles.
During this morning's Nintendo Direct, the company announced that the full pack will be available to purchase for the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game later today.
