As part of a new marketing campaign, Disney and Lucasfilm have teamed up with animators and filmmakers to create short films that show off new toys from different companies centered on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
The shorts also give a little more insight into what fans can expect out of the actual film without giving away too many details. For example, in the new video, Jyn Erso and her Rebel fighters get up close with the new AT-ACT transporter that’s being used remotely by a group of stormtroopers and shows Diego Luna being captured and brought aboard the Death Star.
Neither Lucasfilm or Disney have confirmed that the events that happen in the shorts are references to what happens in the film, but many within the Star Wars community have discovered Easter Eggs pointing to similarities between these videos and the information we have about Rogue One.
The video also shows off some of the new toys, including the aforementioned AT-ACT transporter, more adorable Lego figures and complete sets with additional vehicles. All Rogue One toys will be available Sept. 30.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters Dec. 16.
